Bian stone has been used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for over 2,000 years, it's one of the original healing tools. Bian stone helps boost circulation and move stuck energy. Think of it as the most active, therapeutic stone you can use for Gua Sha.
-
Absolutely. This tool is designed with four different edges so you can use it everywhere. The curved edges hug your face for sculpting and drainage. The wave edge releases deeper tension in your neck, shoulders, and legs. One tool, two rituals, face and body care in one.

For your face: 3–5 times a week is ideal, especially in the evening after cleansing. For your body: whenever you need it, daily if you carry a lot of tension, or 2–3 times a week for maintenance. There's no strict rule. Just listen to what your body needs.
-
Yes, always. Oil or balm helps the tool glide smoothly without pulling your skin. For your face, use it with our Good Chi Cleansing Balm or any facial oil. For your body, apply body oil or balm first. No oil = dragging.
-
On your face, no. You're using light pressure, so there shouldn't be any marks. On your body, you might see temporary redness or light bruising, especially if you're working on really tight areas. In TCM, this is called "sha", it's stagnant blood coming to the surface to clear out. It's actually a good sign and fades in 2–5 days. Your body is just releasing what's been stuck.
-
After each use, rinse your tool with warm water and a gentle soap or cleanser. Pat it dry with a soft cloth.
-
Both. Gua Sha has been used in TCM for thousands of years to move Qi, release stagnation, and support healing. Modern research supports it too, studies show Gua Sha can increase microcirculation by up to 400%, reduce inflammation, improve lymphatic drainage, and relieve chronic pain.
