Scoop a coin sized amount and massage onto dry skin all over your face.
Rinse with lukewarm water to turn into a milky emulsion and removes with a clean face cloth.
Follow with a moisturiser and SPF (am) or serum/ moisturiser (pm).

Have used for a few years, love the product
I’m very disappointed with my recent order. The cleanser I received appears to be fake — it arrived wrapped in brown paper instead of the usual orange box, and was placed in a single-use plastic bag. The product itself looks and smells completely different from the original: it has the texture of cheap petroleum jelly and a strong tea tree oil scent. How is it possible that I received what appears to be a counterfeit product directly from the manufacturer? This is very concerning. Please investigate this issue urgently and advise on the next steps for replacement or refund.

We have investigated this with our fulfilment partner & implemented changes to ensure this won't happen again. With regards to the outer box, only the 100ml Good Chi is supplied with an outer box, the 50ml mini version comes as a standalone pot. I can confirm your product is 100% genuine purchased directly from us. The formulation has not recently undergone any changes & we do not use any petroleum jelly in any of our products. Best balm I’ve used and I feel like I’ve used them all.
46 yr old female -as a person with extremely sensitive skin I have to be careful with what I purchase. This feels great on the skin and removes makeup without leaving my skin dry. I use this as my makeup remover and then use a foaming cleanser for sensitive skin. It has a light medicinal scent like the rice water essence o barely notice it. I will definitely re-purchase. It’s a shame I live in the USA shipping cost is a bit much.
46yr old it’s a light scent that glides smoothly, it feels similar to Farmacy cleansing balm and is a great makeup remover. I have very sensitive combination skin. I use daily to remove makeup and then with a gentle cleanser. I will re-purchase. I wish there was free shipping to the USA.

Firm staple in my daily routine! Along with one or two other brands in my daily routine now as a NEED in my second evening cleanse. Great formula, so soft and buttery, melts my touch to dissolve makeup off i/e good for chunky mascara and long-wear lipstick.
This is now a firm staple in my routine. I’ve tried lots of other cleansers and balms and this one is BY FAR the best! Afterwards I feel like my skin has been moisturised rather than stripped and tight. And it removes all makeup, even waterproof mascara. So happy I found this cleanser, wish I’d tried it sooner.

This is the BEST facewash I have ever used. I order in bulk 2-3 x per year to make sure I never run out. It melts off your makeup while leaving skin soft. I have used so many facewashes that burn my eyes when I take my mascara off. This product never causes any irritation and never requires multiple rounds of washing to get all the makeup off.

As an acupuncturist, I was really excited to try this TCM inspired cleansing balm. It feels nourishing to apply and the scent is lovely. I haven’t been using it long enough to have any noticeable effects on my skin.

Best cleanser ever
This is the best face wash for makeup removal and the most hydrating face wash I have ever used. I order in bulk from the US. It is super gentle and removes everything. My eyes are very sensitive to soaps and this never ever bothers me. I can really rub it into my eyes to get my eye makeup off with no issues. I absolutely love it.

I loved this balm and had used it for years but the formula has changed this year 😭 it was so luxurious before and now it seems oilier and sits on the skin as opposed to making it feel nourished. The scent is also really medicinal now. Gutted!

Yes, the Good Chi is oil-based and therefore will remove all makeup. You will need to double cleanse, so make sure to massage it thoroughly onto your lashes and emulsify it with water.
